Putting on the Blitz!

Carter Community School in Hamworthy is hosting a ‘Putting on the Blitz’ charity night in aid of Lewis-Manning Hospice.

For just £10 guests can enjoy a 1940s supper, entertainment and music at 7.30pm on 3 March.  People are encouraged to wear fancy dress as prizes will be given for best outfits.

Sara Sheppard, Community Fundraiser at Lewis-Manning Hospice said: “We are delighted to once again receive support from the Carter Community School. Support like this from the local community is vital to ensure we can continue to provide free high quality hospice care to our patients.”

Lewis-Manning Hospice provides free palliative nursing care to people with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses in Poole and the surrounding areas. They receive a 1/3 of their funding from the Bournemouth and Poole PCT and the remaining £50,000 is raised through fundraising initiatives, their 10 hospice charity shops and legacies.

For tickets please call Janette on 07795495787.
