Congratulations to our Flora London Marathon Runners

Daniel Courtney and Mel Wilkinson successfully completed the 2009 Flora London Marathon.

We are delighted for Daniel and Mel on their achievement of such a brilliant feat and are very grateful that they chose to run in aid of LMH.

This was Daniel's, who was sponsored by EF Language Travel, first marathon and he crossed the finishing line in 4 hours 50 minutes and Mel completed the 26.2 miles in 5 hours 5 minutes, we take our hats off to you!

Despite the warm weather making the run an even more gruelling experience, they both throughly enjoyed the occasion. Daniel said, "It really was the most amazing day." Daniel has now been bitten by the marathon bug and hopes to run many more in the future.

Sponsorship money from these types of events is really important fundraising income for Lewis-Manning and helps us to continue providing vital care services to the local community.
