Here are some of the ways in which you can get involved:

Employee Fundraising

Get your employees involved...cake sales, quizzes and raffles are just some examples. It's great for morale and it shows them you care about your community. Can your company match funds raised by staff? It's a great incentive and helps staff to feel good about their company.

Sponsorship

Lewis-Manning Hospice holds several high profile fundraising events each year.  We can tailor-make you a sponsorship package to suit your business's needs, and offer you branding and client entertaining opportunities.

Overseas Challenges

Our overseas challenges offer a once in a lifetime chance for people to achieve something they had never dreamt of. Why not support your staff by offering them bonus days off as an incentive to take part? They will come back from their experience a fulfilled employee, brimming with self confidence and a sense of accomplishment.

Payroll Giving 

Payroll Giving is a simple, tax effective way of demonstrating commitment to charities that your employees hold close to their hearts. It can help boost morale within the workplace, generate valuable regular income for good causes and enhance your community investment profile. Corporate Social Responsibility and community investment makes good business sense and Payroll Giving is a good starting point, whatever size your business. At minimal cost and administrative resource, your support helps to ensure the care that Lewis-Manning Hospice provides, continues.

Match it!

Employers can match their employees’ donations. Whether they raise funds through events or other activities such as regular donations via Payroll Giving, matching by a percentage or a fixed amount, will show encouragement towards your employee as well as helping Lewis-Manning Hospice to provide care to local people with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses.

Volunteering  

Occasionally we have activities at the hospice for teams to help out with such as painting or gardening projects. We also need volunteers to help with fundraising. For example bag packing at local supermarkets or street collections in shopping centres. 

Gifts in Kind

We always welcome quality goods to help with our fundraising, whether they are items suitable for prizes (bottles/gifts/ experiences) or to be used at the event itself (i.e a gazebo or block of cheddar for our summer fete!)

Networking

Perhaps you would be able to introduce us to your company  contacts and help raise our profile within the business community.

Place a Collection Can

If you have an area in your company where there are lots of footfall i.e. reception or cafeteria, perhaps you would be willing to have one of our cans.
