Community Fundraiser Louise gets ‘CANNED!’
The average collection can contains around £20, which means that they have the potential to be a great source of income for LMH.
As you can see, we have a brand new batch of collection cans (500 to be exact!) If each of these were distributed and collected with an average of £20, this would amount to a massive £10,000 every quarter without costing the hospice a penny! However, as you can imagine, it would take Louise days to drive around and distribute them all (not to mention having to collect them again) and in amongst all the other fundraising activities Lousie is involved in she doesn’t have the time to find a home for them all.
As well as being a really easy way to generate a significant income for the hospice, collection cans have the added advantage of raising the profile of Lewis-Manning Hospice and making us more prominent in the local community.
