Dr Who star urges community to support our hospice
Mark Gatiss, writer of the hit series Dr Who and co-creator of the BBC drama Sherlock is urging local people to support our hospice during our 20th anniversary year.
Mark has supported our charity which provides free care and support for people with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses since 2010 when he became our official patron.

Mark said: “I am honoured and delighted to be patron of Lewis-Manning Hospice in this big year for them. As well as moving to new premises they are celebrating twenty years of offering care and support to local people.
“I urge the people of Poole and Bournemouth to support this hugely worthwhile charity as their work is a vital resource to the local community.”
We are on schedule to move into our brand new state of the art hospice in Lilliput where we will be expanding our existing day hospice service, lymphoedema clinic and breathlessness clinic. We will also open a new 23 bedded unit for respite and end of life care.
