Don’t miss out on art exhibition in aid of Lewis-Manning Hospice
We're urging local people to visit the Upton House Peacock Gallery over the next two weeks for the chance to own an original piece of artwork illustrating the natural beauty of our local area.
The exhibition is home to over 50 original works of art created by top Dorset artists including Margaret Hasted and Sarah Kelly.

The exhibition is themed ‘Time to Care and Views from Evening Hill’ in aid of Lewis-Manning Hospice, as we preparing to move back to our brand new state of the art hospice on Evening Hill in Lilliput.
Sara Sheppard, Community Fundraiser at Lewis-Manning Hospice said: “The views from our hospice on Evening Hill are breathtaking, you can see Poole Harbour, Brownsea Island and the Purbecks and this exhibition is the perfect opportunity for local people to own a piece of artwork showing off the naturally beautiful area that we live in.”

The art exhibition is running until February 28 and is open 10.30am-3.30pm daily. Sara added: “The paintings would make a lovely addition to anyone’s home, or look perfect in a local restaurant or hotel to show off the wonderful part of the world that we live in.”
Entry to the exhibition is by donation and a percentage of sales will go to Lewis-Manning Hospice. The ‘Time to Care’ appeal for Lewis-Manning Hospice is aiming to raise £2.5million to build the brand new state of the art facility on the existing site on Evening Hill. The current fundraising total stands at £850,000 and the build is on schedule to complete by the spring.
