Charity quiz night back by popular demand!

Southbourne resident Bill Chard is hosting his ever popular charity quiz night to raise money for Lewis-Manning Hospice, the charity he regularly volunteers for as a driver.

On Saturday 25 February at the Holy Angels Church in Lilliput guests can enjoy a fish and chip supper, cash bar, raffle and prizes for the winning team. Tickets are £10, the doors open at 7.30pm and supper is served at 8.15pm.

Bill regularly drives patients to their appointments at the hospice, a charity that provides free care to adults with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. This year they celebrate their 20th anniversary, and are set to open their brand new state of the art facility in Lilliput to expand on their existing day hospice service, lymphoedema clinic and breathlessness clinic. They will also be providing a 23 bedded unit for respite, rehabilitation and end of life care.
